Choose a Reel-sized idea

Decide what the Reel should communicate before generating its footage. A five-second scene can deliver a greeting, introduce a fictional performer, or establish the mood of a release. It cannot comfortably explain a biography and perform a full verse at the same time. Write the idea as a sentence that a viewer could repeat after watching once. For example: a night-shift baker celebrates finally closing the shop. The visual and the words can now work toward the same small event.

Treat Instagram as the destination for an edited piece, rather than assuming a generation arrives ready for every publishing surface. AI Rap Video Plus currently creates five-second Seedance 2 clips at 480p with native audio. That is creative source material. Plan any titles, cropping, audio replacement, or additional scenes in a separate editor. Existing songs cannot be uploaded to this studio, and generated words or mouth movements are not guaranteed to match an exact script.

Plan the full-screen view and the cover separately

A vertical composition is a useful starting point for a mobile Reel, but the cover and profile preview may show a different crop. Place the main face and the essential prop away from the extreme edges. Leave space for a short title without covering the mouth. If the joke depends on a second character, check that both remain visible throughout the motion. A crop that looks fine on the first frame can fail when someone leans sideways.

Choose the cover as a separate editorial decision. Find a frame with a readable expression and a clear silhouette, then check its preview in the actual Instagram posting flow. Do not rely on a remembered grid dimension or universal safe-zone diagram, because presentation changes across surfaces and app versions. Instagram maintains an official Reel size page; consult it for the current requirements. This guide deliberately avoids treating a single pixel template as permanently correct.

Give five seconds a beginning and an ending

Start close to the useful action. A long fade from black can consume much of a short performance before the audience understands it. For the bakery example, begin with the fictional performer already beside the counter, let a small celebratory gesture carry the middle, and finish on a satisfied expression. Add the phrase “Last tray, best day” in the editor if it helps establish the idea. The text is an original example, not a tested model output.

Listen for a complete ending in the generated sound. If a word stops halfway through, either trim to a coherent earlier point or choose another take. When using your own authorized recording in an external editor, mute the native soundtrack intentionally rather than accidentally layering both. A music overlay does not create accurate lip synchronization. Use atmosphere, gestures, and cutaways when the picture cannot support a literal close-up vocal performance.

Check the file before opening the posting screen

Inspect the actual dimensions of the downloaded media and compare them with the current platform requirements. The 480p model label is not a promise of a particular accepted delivery size. Exporting a larger frame can change the file dimensions, but it cannot restore missing source detail. Avoid an extreme crop that magnifies a small face. If the shot looks weak at the intended size, simplify the layout or choose a composition that uses the available detail more effectively.

Save a clean master and a separate version containing any burned-in captions. Watch the export on your phone at normal size and volume. Check names, readable lettering, unwanted background voices, and the last frame. Use the appropriate platform disclosure for realistic synthetic media and describe the scene accurately. A fictional performance should not be presented as footage of a real person doing something they never did.

Run a three-preview publishing check

Review the full Reel, the selected cover, and the profile preview as three different presentations of the same project. In each one, ask whether the subject is recognizable and the title is understandable. If the cover loses its meaning when cropped, move the text or select a different frame instead of altering the entire video. Keep screenshots of the approved previews with the export so you can identify which version was published.

After posting, evaluate the result against its purpose. A release teaser should help interested listeners identify the track; a private joke should be understood by its intended audience. Do not infer a universal posting rule from one response. If viewers miss the premise, revise the opening. If they cannot read the words, fix the typography. These are observable improvements you can make without promising that any format or AI prompt guarantees reach.
